A popular tourist attraction, Bernkastel-Kues features a fascinating view of old traditional German architecture typical of preserved Middle-Ages villages: authentic exposed timber houses lining narrow, winding streets. The town is in the heart of the Mosel Valley wine region and scenic vineyards line the hillsides of the surround area.
